As far back as Rafa can remember he has always been drawing. Born in Mexico Rafa grew up spending his free time with a pencil and paper. Never taking a class he was able to figure out his own way of doing things. After several years of odd jobs and school Rafa found a job that led him to work in the United States . While in the states he knew he had found his home. Meeting his wife in Spokane Wa . he decided he should start looking into different ways to make his living. The odd jobs where making money but Rafa still wasn't pursuing his dream. Rafa ended up in Walla Walla Wa . around 2006 and decided he wanted a tattoo. He found his way to Immortal Ink where he began his relationship with Wes and Gage. After his tattoo he asked what it would take to learn how to tattoo. Wes told Rafa he needed to see some art work that Rafa had done. Rafa went home and put together a portfolio to show Wes. On his return to immortal ink Wes was blown away with Rafa's art. At this point Rafa became an apprentice to Immortal Ink and started his tattooing career.

Recently, Rafa has been working at Immortal Ink and was responsible for immortal's new logo.
